Where does my code actually live?
In your own WordPress database, on your own hosting. Nothing is mirrored to an external service. If you move hosts, the pastes move with the rest of your site, and the URLs keep working.
Can I keep pastes private?
Each paste has its own visibility. Public pastes are findable, unlisted pastes need the link, and password-protected pastes ask for a password before the code is shown. Burn-after-read pastes delete themselves once they have been viewed once.
Do my pastes expire automatically?
Only if you set an expiry. By default a paste stays online as long as your site is online. You decide retention per paste, so proprietary snippets do not vanish on a hosted provider’s schedule.
